Dear Fellow Classmates,

This is the very first "round robin" letter.
We began it in May of 1998.
Here is My Contribution:

Hi Dan! I must admit I had to get out our yearbook to correctly match the names with faces. It's been so long since I've seen anybody from our class!

I've lived in various parts of Michigan over the years, but for the past 11 years, I've been living in the Grand Rapids area. I only get back to Oakland County every so often to visit my husband's brother.

I do see graduates from the Class of '70 - namely Roxanne Montgomery, Laura Atwood, Nancy Dentamaro and Marie Carlos - of course those are their maiden names. We get together twice a year "up north" at a cottage Marie owns. It's great having long-lasting friendships.

I currently work for a new bank . I helped start up the Trust Department for the bank 6 years ago -- and haven't looked back. We've grown from zero accounts, zero assets and two people to over 200 accounts, over $100 million in assets under management, and four people. With all the mergers of the "mega" banks, our bank is nicely positioned to get business from people who are fed up with never knowing with whom they are dealing.

Allan is my second husband. He is originally from the U.P. near Escanaba. We've been married since 1985. No kids...just a kitty-cat that we adore - and treat like a kid! (It's sick!)

Just returned from a week in Charlotte NC. I went attend a conference, and stayed over the Memorial Weekend. Al flew in Friday, and on Sunday we went to the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Winston Cup race. It was a lot of fun - and quite an experience. We have been to MIS (Al has tickets annually to the June race), but Charlotte was awesome. There's no doubt you are in "racing country."

That's about it. It's great that Roxanne organized this. As I mentioned to her, I probably would not have even considered attending the 30 year reunion, but now that I've been in touch with former classmates - it'll truly be more like seeing old friends!

Enjoy!
