Dear Fellow Classmates,

This is the very first "round robin" letter.
We began it in May of 1998.

Wow, quite a trip down memory lane. Al (Brant - Roxanne's uncle) did drive a road sweeper, but that was only on certain days - I remember him mostly driving a large dump truck picking up branches and other debris (I drove a tractor to cut grass in fields - my first full-time summer job). I don't think Quandt School had another name. I was in the "separate building" for 6th grade with Mr. Kane (we called it the "house building"). I think we were the last class there (1961) before it was abandoned then torn down. I remember art class with Mrs. Ellis in the basement - spooky! I remember Tom Rinna as a wrestling coach in high school. I think he taught English, although I never had him as teacher. He lived near my best friend in high school, Keith Whitehouse - sounds like you lived near him, too, on Hanfor Street (I grew up on College Street). Finally, I remember very well when Thunderbowl was built. I was first in line to get Jayne Mansfield's autograph! Tastee-Freeze and White Castle burgers - how did we survive that era???
Later ...
