·      Contributining factor on Detroit Baseball Federation, 3 National Championships, representing Melvindale H.S.

·      Record 16 strike-outs in a championship game against Washington D.C. in the summer of 1963 for a National Championship/2-time Louisville Slugger “Black Bat” recipient

·      Alpena Junior College-basketball and baseball scholarship/Michigan State University-baseball scholarship

·      Drafted by Minnesota Twins, New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles during the 1965-1966 baseball draft/Signed with the Boston Red Sox in 1967/Houston Astros purchased his contract in 1970

·      Married to wife Joan for 23 years

·      Currently enjoying the real estate business in Florida
